Kuristina has carefully selected a team of skilled individuals from the Kyokushin community to perpetuate her father's legacy. This select group, embodying passion and expertise, works in unison to uphold the traditions and principles of Kyokushin Karate.

Meet The Team

Kuristina Kikuko Oyama

Custodian & CEO

Born on October 21, 1971, in Toshima-ku, Tokyo, Kuristina Oyama is the third daughter of the Oyama family. Holding a Shodan rank in Kyokushin Karate, she has dedicated herself to the revitalization and growth of the Kyokushin-kaikan. Kuristina, working alongside her mother Chiyako Oyama since 1994, strives to accurately share her late father Mas Oyama's legacy and the spirit of Kyokushin Karate, both domestically and internationally. Her mission is to inspire and encourage people through her father's significant achievements and profound insights.

Kuristina has double degree in law and psychology, actively involved in various fields. She provides lectures in U.S. prisons, focusing on inmate care, among other initiatives. She has been practicing yoga since the age of nineteen, following her father Masutatsu Oyama's recommendation. Kuristina explores new forms of yoga, finding commonalities with karate, particularly in breathing techniques and physical movements. She practices Ashtanga Yoga while developing an adaptive yoga method that complements the Kyokushin Way, offering personalized programs for individuals and groups alike.

Leo

Born in 1974 in Nagasaki, Leo is the head of the production department. As an office worker, he passionately researches Mas Oyama and Kyokushin Karate in his free time. His findings contribute to books and magazines, enriching the knowledge base of martial arts. Leo also runs the blog "Eye of the Fist."

 

However, due to server migration and domain changes, many images on the blog are currently disconnected, and repairing them has been a challenging task. Leo, a person of diverse interests, often shares intriguing research snippets on social media platforms like Twitter.

Marketing

Son

Born in 1985 in Berlin, Germany, Son has made a mark as a marketer, notably advancing brand development through targeted campaigns on Google and social media. His martial arts journey began in 2008 with Kyokushin Karate in Bremen. Today, he practices and upholds the traditions of Kyokushin in Berlin.

 

His dedication to Kyokushin Karate not only reflects his commitment to martial arts but also honors the legacy of Oyama Masutatsu, serving as a bridge between traditional martial arts values and modern-day practices.

Financial

Valeri

Waleri has excelled as a financial expert, notably enhancing financial operations for various organizations. He practices and upholds the traditions of Kyokushin as a 2nd Dan Black Belt International Instructor under the Ushakov Branch in Germany.

As the Financial Treasurer of Mas Oyama Enterprise, Waleri combines his financial acumen with his dedication to Kyokushin Karate, honoring the legacy of Oyama Masutatsu by integrating traditional martial arts values with contemporary financial practices.
